Hoox est un groupe de pop alternative dont les racines s’étendent de part et d’autre de la manche. Fortement influencé par l’univers musical de Bristol ainsi que la scène rock en France, le groupe se crée en 2012. Fruit de ce mélange de cultures, on découvre une musique enivrante qui s’inscrit dans la lignée de projets tels que Alt-J ou encore Jamie Lidell.
C’est au JAM, une école de jazz située à Montpellier, que les membres se rencontrent. Les scènes se multiplient et l’enthousiasme du public grandit. Aujourd’hui, après douze mois consacrés exclusivement au travail en studio, Hoox revient sur scène plein d’ambition, avec un premier EP éponyme à paraître le 13 octobre 2017.
Teinté d’éléments électroniques et cuivrés et mené par la voix charismatique de Maugan Kenward, Hoox est à découvrir sur scène pour un live percussif et électrisant.

Hoox is an alternative pop band that found its roots on both sides of the Channel. Strongly influenced by "The Bristol Sound" and the french Rock scene, the band was created in 2012. This blend of cultures results in a rich and intoxicating musical experience, falling in line with artists such as Alt-J or Jamie Lidell.
The band members met while attending the JAM, a jazz school in Montpellier. Performing regularly, the enthusiasm and interest from the public continued to grow. The last twelve months have been dedicated to recording in the studio and Hoox is now back on stage with an ambitious first EP to be released on October 13th.
Blending acoustic and electronic elements and led by Maugan Kenward's charismatic voice, Hoox is to be seen on stage for a percussive and electrifying experience.
